Same tail lights?

Does anyone know if the tail lights below are the same product?

Brothers Trucks: https://www.brotherstrucks.com/1973-...tinfo/LED87FD/

USA1 industries: http://www.usa1industries.com/1973-8...embly-kit.html

They look the same but it is hard to tell.
Thanks!

Re: Same tail lights?

Did you see that USA1 Industries, has more pics? There’s a close up of the tail light itself. I would say yes, it’s the same. A lot of these places get their parts from the same suppliers/manufacturers. I can’t see too many different places making the same LED light for our trucks.

I saw that but you just never know. The Brothers website has a good video for the install, looks simple. USA1 is closer so I would order from them if it is the same product.

unless you WANT the led look threw the lens then save some cash and get these . i did a lot of testing my self time and money and am super happy with the end results .

NOT promoting amazon at all . . . just easy to link to is all .

https://www.amazon.com/SYLVANIA-Brig.../dp/B01A77TV4Q

then backup i did these for the biggest lumen output after trying the ZEVO and even ebay 50-60-70 count chip units that sucked worse than the ZEVO for backup .

best backup in my opinion . https://www.superbrightleds.com/more...fit/2622/5694/

no melted housings / lenses / or problems . and testing from others and my self . . the bulb color NEEDS to match the lens color for best bright full color out of the lens . or it twists the color around and makes pink if white threw red when doing BRIGHT led conversions .

Re: Same tail lights?

fyi these were both done threw original 100k miles 1987 tail lenses . these pics dont do them justice tho . the real world result was much better . and the speed for the bulb to light was just insane over the old std bulb .

when a std bulb is doing a flash or 4way the bulb glows the whole time bright / dime / bright / dim . . . with the led they go ON / OFF / ON / OFF

i even upgraded the bulbs in my snow plow lights for $$$ less than the newer style plow lights .

if you want faster / brighter / yet un touched stock look this is the budget minded ticket . the others like linked in the first post look cool but to me the price and look take away from a more stock original look .

but everyone is different and looks good to one over the other is in the eye of the owner .

reason i did this was to keep the stock look but function better . as my truck is a body and paint survivor and still driven every day so to me the newer would look way out of place .

Thanks so much that is a great comparison. Too bad you don't get a sales commission off these.
