Detailing a dash bezel
I’m thinking that somewhere I have seen some type of pen/marker/paint to put the silver/chrome plating finish back on the raised letters above the headlight switch or on the dash emblem. I’m not looking at a bezel right now they may be above the wiper switch or both. I flipped through a classic ind. catalog and never seen anything like that. I spotted the speedometer needle paint, it wasn’t on that page. It sounds like a Eastwood item maybe but I don’t know what you would call it. You know how it is, if it didn’t come out right it would have been better left alone. Thanks for any info. Darin

Re: Detailing a dash bezel
Hey TKCR and jetmech, my chrome pen came in the mail . I opened it and put the chrome edges back on a dash emblem. It worked great. I thought it would be more like a silver but it is really chrome looking. I’m impressed , feeling like a pro. Thanks again for the great tip jetmech. Darin

For what it's worth, they carry those chrome pens (and some other application styles) at Hobby Lobby. If I remember correctly, they are on the same isle as the plastic model kits. I did the chrome on my boy's pine derby car with one.

I used a silver Sharpie a few years ago. Still looks like new.
