Rear end identification number help
 

Hello,

I know where the id numbers/letters are on my '72 12 bolt rear end, passenger side axle tube but did GM change the location on a 1978 Chevrolet k10? I would like to crawl under the truck in the next few days and get the numbers/letters off the rear end.

That's where my 79 numbers are. Passenger side on top.
