66 c10 Door and window felt replacements--best ones to get?
 

Ive been compiling a list of parts that I will be needing to do a complete overhaul of the door glass felt, rubber and channels.

I had thought the kits that these different sellers offer may not be the way to go but instead buy them from separate sources based on which are the best fits and quality. Is this bad thinking?

Ive looked in the FAQ and found a thread on the LMC offerings that ended up not being recommended.

All I have purchased so far is the vent window weatherstrip, vent assembly rivets, and the pivot rivet and setting tool. I bought them in 2015 from Classic Parts when I started this teardown. I hope I bought the right stuff for that.

The channel that Ill need to get that replaces the division bar, are they about the same from place to place? And the door glass run channel?

Ive read in this thread that the Rubber The Right Way had the best anti rattle seals (beltline felts) are the most OEM looking and best fit

I also saw this thread explaining how the glass setting tape is too thick from Classic, anyone found a better tape? Or just take it to a shop to have the glass set in the channel?

I will probably have it done since I need new glass anyway. The glass I have is old, clear and scratchy.
