1970 drum brakes 6 lug hub question

I need to replace driver side front hub for 1970 2wd 6 lug original drum setup.
Will the passenger side front hub work if it is all i can only locate?

Are the driver/passenger hubs interchangeable?

I do not see why not front disc rotors with built in hub are left or right

Why would you not buy a new one?
They’re not crazy expensive. And with a 50 year old used one you don’t know what you’re getting

Who makes new ones?
Or give me a recommendation on a new compatible replacement part.

Everyone goes the disc conversion route.
Doubt there is any money in a company making new drum hubs for these trucks which is why I need what is available.

A quick search on the site shows a few others had the same problem locating replacement drum hubs.

I am hoping those that do disc conversion dont trash or scrap those old useable parts just because they aren't modern.

I would think they're interchangeable from left to right. You need to be a supporting member to post a "want to buy ad" in the parts forum. But you can buy if someone has one advertised.

OK back To the original question, The driver and passenger side hubs interchangeable? Just looking for a Parts expert to give me a confident answer.

Yes they are interchangeable.
There is no machine work on those parts that make them left or right specific.

On my '68 C/10 the brake drums are interchangeable; left, right, front, back -- all same-same.
