Has anyone used this type of fittings for their transmission? Also with the stainless tubing and compression fittings.

They will work as long as the final connections at both ends are hose/flex...mighty expensive though.

Those appear to be Swagelok fittings, rated to 10,000 psi, I used them on my brake lines, never any issues. They have a two piece ferrule make sure the small ferrule is oriented correctly. Best fitting on the market IMO
