Oil Sending Unit

I swapped out a 1981-1987 Chevy Truck electric oil sending unit into my gauge cluster...are all sending units the same for a SBC or do I need to get one for the 81-87 Chevy Truck? Thanks

No they are not all the same. Use one for the gauge your using.
