Confused about motor mounts

Putting an L94 6.2 in my 68. So I’ve ordered the Dingo slider plates. Is that all I need? Do I need new perches and the rubber motor mounts that attach to the perches?or just the lrubber mounts and keep the stock perches? I’m looking at the POL tubular perches and mounts but don’t want to order them if I don’t need them.

I don't know which oil pan you are using but keep the oil pan as close as you can to the cross member to keep the drive line angle down as much as possible. Nothing to do with me but I like the "new" Holley mounts. Search for their thread.
If you have some fad skills use the Dirty Dingo engine mounts and make the fairly simple angled mount from the frame rail to the cross member.

I have the ctsv pan in my lowered '68 using the ECE clamshell type mounts. I wouldn't recommend unless you are using a high hump tunnel. The pan fits perfect though.

I used the Tejas steelworks mounts. Not adjustable, Keeps the stock truck pan flush with the bottom of the crossmember. Haven’t finished yet, so we’ll see how the trans mount works out. They fit right over factory clamshell mounts and reuse the stock bolts.

My engine mount adapter plates don't slide but have 4 positions. They are in the 3rd position forward in order to clear the rear coil on the passenger side. They are made by Blackheart Racing. Got them on Ebay. 08 truck 5.3 with stock oil pan in a 65 C10.

I will second the Tejas Mounts (I haven't ordered them yet), but numerous reports I read say they keep everything aligned correctly, (oil pan) and you can still run the FACTORY AC compressor in the stock location!

Re: Confused about motor mounts

Is having a "slider" style motor mount required for an LS swap? Or is just a nice to have? I am putting an LQ4/4l80 in a 70 SWB. I am looking at either the mounts in the link below from CXRacing or the Hooker Blackheart mounts that were referenced above. Can anyone tell/see if I would have issues with pinion angles with the CX setup?
