Receiver Hitch for SWB 4x4??
 

Does anyone know of a top-quality bolt-on receiver hitch for a '72 SWB 4x4?

The Reese info does not go back to '72.

Click the link. It doesn't say anything about 2wd vs. 4wd but you could email them to make sure. My bet is that it will work fine!

You will notice it states the hitch will bolt on long boxes without modification. The ones I have seen require you to remove the support that is attached to the frame that hangs below the rear spring mount on short boxes. That is why I custom made my hitch as I did not want to remove the bracket. If you want I can get you a picture when I get home tonight.
