Exhaust manifold coating

Hi all, I'm looking for a coating I can apply to my ram horn exhaust manifolds. I would like something that I can apply myself that will hold up on a daily driver. The manifolds have been bead blasted and are clean. I would rather just leave them bare if noting is recommended. I don't really want to send them out for this. Thanks for any recommendations.

Just did this w/POR15, we will see how it holds up

I’ve used this brushed on my manifolds.
Worked really well. I lived in a very harsh environment at that time. Down to -40 winters.

I did Por15 as well. But you have to follow the instructions so make sure to bake them at 400deg or it will flake.

Thanks Cyclone. Just curious how much paint did you use to do both manifolds. It looks very nice!

Rustoleum cold galvanizing compound is relatively cheap as compared to specialty products, comes in a spraycan, and doesn't burn off. But...it's silver colored. Edit: It will scratch off however.

how does it hold compared to say header paint? i got an old set of cyclone headers for my 230 from an old speed shop inventory. Basic black shipping spray. I don't care if they are silver.

So I looked at the date on my earlier pic and it was December 19 of 2016. I likely had recoated them at that time since I had just changed my engine color from Chevy orange to Ford gray. Here's how they look today after the truck regularly being used sporadically around town and for weekend day trips

These manifolds on my other 283 were done llike 7 to 10 years ago and the truck is driven harder, faster and on much hotter days with an A/C adding to the load.

Thanks everyone for all of the suggestions, it gives me some ideas on which products will work for me.

I coated 4 manifolds, with 2 coats per instructions. There is a little left in the 8 ounce can.

I used KBS Extreme high heat rattle can. I like the look. My truck isn't a DD yet, so I don't know how well it will hold up, but they look good right now. :D

On my rams I used silver high temp heat from Auto parts. Truck is a daily and has gotten plenty of use in all types of weather over the last 2 years. After blasting them the paint has held up fine. Every now and then you can see a little change of color from the pores but a little touch up and they are fine...
