I like the MileMarker stainless hubs with brass locking ring. However, their is nothing wrong with either the Superwinch or Warn hubs, either.

I have the Milemarker stainless hubs with the brass dials like Mike C. They work great and have taken the abuse for about 7 years now. No problems.

I have warns on the scout, the originals were a combo auto/locker (quite nice, auto hub but you have the locker option which is stronger than the autos). It took abuse for a while and then got changed because my dad just didn't want autos. The warns on there now have taken abuse for 15 years now and show no wear.

I use the original hubs and innerds that came with my trucks. They have the blue center. I abused the h*ll out of them and never had a problem. Mud raced for 5 yrs and now do dirt draging. I do clean them out and repack them once a year though...I like the original look too.

I have warn hubs. They haven't let me down yet.

Alexis 03-31-2002 07:01 PM

they both have cracked switches, the one that works or kinda work is hard to turn, the right one.

I've got warns on my 72, have yet to tear one up, and it sees plenty of abuse. Also a big fan of the milemarkers mentioned above, have a set ready for if the warns ever give up.
