Has anyone bought and installed one of these no holes vent cowls from Classic Parts and others? I am running a/c so I don't need the fresh air, but am curious about fitment and quality?

I just bought one without the vents as well, but will not be installing is for a while.

Please let us know on how it fits.

I haven't bought one yet...I want to though. Maybe that will be part of phase 2 of my truck.

Did you take it out of the packaging? How does it look?

I took it out of the box, and it looks really great.
The first one they sent me got a slight bend in the middle, during shipping.
Fixable by someone who does bodywork, unfortunately I don't.
They sent me another, and it looks real good.

I think that if was packed with a thin strip of luan plyood on both sides, it would not get damaged. the plyood would easily fit inside the box, and add hardly any weight.

Send me a private message, if you are interested in the first one, and we can work something out.
