Does anyone know where to find a nice tailgate emblem that says DIESEL 6.2 L? I need one for my '83 suburban

As far as I know they don't reproduce them. You may want to post in the classifieds. Someone may have one

I often go to eBay and just type in "NOS diesel emblem". Or "GM diesel emblem". They pop often and are still relatively cheap.
