My kids square/80 stepside
5 Attachment(s)
It was time for his first vehicle, and my lady was thinking Mini Cooper. So I looked for 3 months and found just the right thing. These used to be easier to find in AZ. 80 Cheyenne Super Short Step.
Got it off a guy that was restoring it for a kid that lost interest. He actually did a good job. Built a strong 350/350, a couple hundred miles on them. New wiring harness/12 bolt/3.73 gears/buckets. I gave away the wheels and got some rallies, fixed a couple wires hooked up wrong, took off the tailgate skin, working on hooking te AC back up. He saw pics of my old 80 with the square headlight option and wanted that, so I swapped a guy for that setup... |

Tell me he likes this better than the mini ????

Re: My kids square/80 stepside
When I told him his mother wanted to get him a Mini, he looked at her and said “Mom, I’m straight,” 😝....no joke.
He loves it. I’d been taking him to the local C10 meets for a while, and he helps out with my 72 GMC Short Step. It’s got a healthy BB, and I’m bagging it right now...so he saw the light 🤘🏼 |
