fender bolt question
 

I pulled this bolt off of my fender somewhere ( I thought from the lower corner where it connects to the cab bracket shown in pics). But these threads are way too big for that location.

Where do these go because they dont fit there??? I recall that lower bolt having a big washer on it.

Do they have different size bolts for that location? Lost!!

That bolt goes through the fender well into the lower part of the cab firewall. Usually has a couple of funky shaped washers between fender well and cab. The bolt that goes into the location you are looking at is the same as the upper two. Think it is a 9/16" head.

Here is a picture of the shims. They are about 4 1/2 inches long by 1 3/4 inches wide +/-. They are made that way so you can hook them on the bolt after it is installed and they won't fall out.

For whatever reason, my inner fender did not need the shims...good thing because they were not in the jars and cans of parts that came of the truck. lol

The bolt threads for the lowest connection (OP's 3rd photo) should be 3/8"-16 threads. They almost always have a 9/16" head.
