WTB - SBC Oil Pan

4 Attachment(s)
I am looking for an OE SBC Oil Pan - My parts book lists GM part number 359939. This would have the dipstick tube on the drivers side and the front measures 2-1/4" making it an early thin gasket pan (reference pic below). I will clean and paint so it doesn't have to be perfect. The one I have is dented/smashed on the bottom and the baffle prevents me from banging it out.

Still hoping to locate an SBC oil pan that isn't dented.

My 327 is a 67 vintage. I'm not sure they stamped the GM number on the oil pans, but I am stripping the paint off of my dented one this morning, so I may have a different answer later.

My 1979 parts book list the 359939 oil pan as being used on 58-79 small blocks.

The dipstick on the drivers side and the 2-1/4" measurement for the thin gasket are what matters most.

Thanks for checking. After stripping the paint off the one I have and banging some of the dents out it may be salvageable. I'd still like to find a better one, but if I get to a point that it is preventing progress I will use the one I have.
