Please Help me find the Magazine
 

I am looking for a magazine on a C10 square body from the 70’s in the 70’s.

I saw the magazine a couple times, the copy my father had was ruined by a flood beyond recognition.

My father grew up in Southern California. His best friend was a Chevy guy forever. My dads family moved to Northern CA in the 50’s when he was a teenager.

The Truck was a very clean 73 -or- 74 lowered short bed step side. Gold colored as I remember. My name sake (uncle) last name was Harrants. He moved to Seattle Washington in the early 80’s.

When He came came to Northern California in the early 70’s I remember that his truck had a very custom paint job with a lot of depth (Several clear coats & some pearl), it looked great. The tailgate was flattened out & the pin striping said Something like “low and slow”.

I have flipped through every mag at shows for the last 10 years. Searched the internet with no luck . Hope you all can help me out and find the magazine.

As another complete shot in the dark, would like a shot at buying the truck if I connect with the current owner.

73-79 would have been the year range it was in a magazine

A 73-79 and Gold in color.
With a flat tailgate (low and slow) on the tailgate?
Lowered short-bed step-side.

And not on the cover of the magazine?

Anything other clues? so we can try to help.
