350/350 for sale

Next week my Blazer is going in to have the LS3/4L70 installed so I am selling my engine and transmission complete with accessories. I do not know any history on these parts but I do know they ran and drove and did not appear to be blowing any smoke. I want $1000 for everything picked up in Taunton MA. I can have my installer place the engine on the crate the LS3 came on and put the transmission in the plastic crate the 4L70 was shipped in. You would need to arrange shipping.

Here are some videos I took about a week ago.

Still available 350/350 runs good with all accessories and brackets. Air cleaner including heat riser to oil pan, AC compressor, power steering, alternator and all brackets. Starter and exhaust manifolds.

By this stamping it appears to be a warranty (counter exchange) 1972 engine.

Pretty complete from oil pan to air cleaner, heat riser, and all brackets. See and hear it run in the videos above.

I am way out in California, I think shipping would be a deal breaker, but sure would love to give it a go. My son's 69 motor and tranny are pretty shot.

It will be on the pallet that my LS engine came on. The transmission will be in the plastic crate that the 4L70 came in. The shop has a forklift so if you could figure out shipping I’m sure we could get it onto a shipping vehicle?

Is this a package deal? Would you separate motor from transmission? Uship is asking for dimensions? Interested Thanks

I would prefer not to split things up. I am disabled and retired and physically unable to handle the disassembly or the moving of parts so it will be up to my installer of the LS engine to paletize and assist in shipping with his fork truck if necessary. I could probably get more money by separating everything and selling AC and power steering and alternator brackets and etc. but I am physically unable to do any of that work so paying labor to separate things separately ship things I may as well just give it away at that point?

I am not saying I wouldn’t separate if it doesn’t sell but I haven’t even put it on the local craigslist yet and I bet it would be gone quickly if I did. Many members of this forum help me out with answers over the years. I am trying to help a foreign member in need out by selling a complete package for what I think is a fair price?

I'll take it.
Is the 350/350 out of the Blazer yet?

No sir. It is being brought to the installer in Taunton MA tomorrow. He will start on it next week. I hope he would have it out by the end of the week. I will update you after I speak with him tomorrow. I will still get you the casting numbers when it is out in case there is anything you may have issues with.

Thanks for the info. Fortunately I am also retired and time is not an issue. I can start my journey to Tauton as soon as everything is available for pickup. I will want to put it in the back of my truck as you described, the engine on the LS pallet and the tranny in the plastic tote. I'll bring some other boxes or totes for the accessories. I'll PM you my cell number so you can text me with updates
Thanks, Tim

I am hoping he can pull it with all the accessories installed. He gets $100 an hour and I don't want to pay him to take it apart unless he has to!

Sent you a text to your cell number you sent me. Just let me know that you received it.

Just an update!

Dropped my Blazer at my installer today and went over our game plan. He said he will try and get pictures of the date code and or casting numbers ASAP, maybe even before pulling engine if possible.

He expects to have the engine out next week but I never count on anything until it is done. I will update when I know anything!

Thanks Tim

The engine and transmission have been sold, paid for, and picked up. Couldn't have been an easier transaction on my end!
