C20's leaf/TA split

I maybe part of a group buy on a hoarding situation where there is a nice 65 Chevy C20. Complete no engine/tranny.

The person who found this has gotten a 72 El Camino fornstupid cheap, and wants to get some more parts too. Plus has a another friend looking at some other car.

So out of general curiosity what is the split on leafs vs TA suspension from the factory?

Not that I care really as each has its advantages, and if he can make it happen I will throw my money down regardless.

IMO the trailing arm suspension is far better than leaf springs.

The '63+ GMC's were standard with leafs and '60+ Chevy's were standard with trailing arms with coils. They both could be special ordered with the other. I have no idea what any sort or ratio would be between them

Thanks.
I got out bid on the truck by another guy, and I do not want to go further right now. I have a soft spot for those trucks as my dad owned a panel for many years, and some of the memories I have of it. I will look for one again later.
