LS Swap Shops?

Good afternoon to everyone. Does anyone have any experience with any Shops that can do an LS Swap on my 86? I'm looking for references in the Beaumont/Houston area that are capable of doing good work. Thanks in advance.

I would give Tejas Steelworks a shout. I will bet it would be worth the effort to get it there... I am currently working on the same thing (build thread on here) and if I was anywhere near there that would be my choice - if looking for a shop. Locally here I am lucky to have a few places, but if I fail then I am going to take mine to jason bowman at "big 10 garage".

good luck!;)

Why not do it yourself? That's what I plan to do. Order a reflashed ecu and new PSI harness.

I did mine in the Woodlands, Texas but There is a guy on Houston Craigslist that says he will do it for $3500 including motor and trans. Don't know nothing about him but you may want to check him out. Good Luck

I would love to do it myself if I knew how and time allowed. But unfortunately thats not the case at the moment so I would rather drop it off to someone who knows what they are doing. (Kglowacky) where in the Woodlands?

I would check with the folks over on LS1tech.com. They have quite a large following with LS swaps into all most anything you can think of.
