Bed pads?

Working on a steel bed floor, bought the common available bed pads when I got into this thing, but then realized that messes up the body lines. I think those pads are 1/4", I don't care;)

I think some padding will improve the ride a pinch. The bed leaves a mark on the frame inviting rust too, not that rust is a problem here, but why mark up a refreshed frame if you don't have to.

I'm edging toward this 1/32" neoprene. No adhesive, maybe you know of an adhesive just strong enough to put the bed on? Grease is out:lol: I suppose I could get away with 1/16", there is a stretch factor. SWB bed probably weighs 400ish, but declared Tensile Strength on this 1/32" is 1000 PSI.

What have you used with success?

I used those little asphalt pads. Do my body lines look much off? Seem close enough.
