Head bolt question.
I am sure several of you have followed my engine saga. I had a local mechanic take a look at it and he said it was a head gasket.
I have heard that you should not use the head bolts again. Is this correct? Should I buy a new set or what? any other thoughts? Any recommendations for the head gaskets themselves? thanks Ron |
Yes, get new headbolts they can stretch and give false torque readings or even fail. As far as gaskets I would go with FEL-PRO. :D
