United Pacific bumper quality?
I'm laid up for another month at least with a new bionic shoulder and have been ordering parts for my '67 shortbed that I can install in the spring. Speedway Motors has a United Pacific chrome front bumper on sale for $160 shipped. Anyone had experience with this brand good or bad?

I bought their bumper bolts and they seem to be good quality. I also installed their headlight half moon covers and they fit well and seem to be good quality as well.

Well I couldn't stand just sitting here staring at this thread. It seems United Pacific is new in the sheet metal world so there aren't many reviews. So I just decided to get one and see for myself. I also ordered new United Pacific bolts through Speedway Motors. It arrived today.

It looks and feels very nice.
It must be just the angle I took the photo, because the only bends I see are the ones that belong. I set one of the bolts in one of the holes for the picture. |
Re: United Pacific bumper quality?
Thanks for the clarification. I might order one myself for the 68

We need to wait a few years to see if it has a tendency to rust through the chrome, but by then the sale will be over...

I like it so far. Much better than my old bent up 71-72 bumper with holes for non-existing turn signals.
