Rear diff oil bung?

3 Attachment(s)
Hey guys, dropped the oil out of front and rear dif’s today. Both look like new inside. No filings, etc. However, the rear diff doesn’t have a bung plug to add oil. Has anyone seen this before? My blazer has one but this 4x4 doesn’t - but it all looks stock.

Only thing I can say is the easy fix is to buy a cover with a fill port in it.

That's my thoughts. How did the po get oil in it I wonder?

I think it's actually maybe in the pic that I sent. I just maybe didn't clean it out well enough. I didn't realize some of them were flush with an allen wrench hole or ratchet hole. So it may be where it's supposed to be. I was looking for an outy like on the front dif and what's on my Blazer 4x4. It's out at my brother's so I can't whip out and check but I'm assuming that is where it is.

It's at the top of the 1st pic facing towards the cover

Are the pictures you posted of the drivers side of the differential?

I ask because on my 1968 C10 12 bolt rear end the oil bung is on the passenger side. It's tucked under a metal "rib" and can be a little hard to find for the first time.
