2 Attachment(s)
Getting ready to have glass cut for the truck, thinnest laminated i can get is 3/16, any tips for the front or rear, i would like rear to be flush, no trim, but open to suggestions, same on front, the double step leaves me unsure what to do..

Re: Time for glass...
Why would you want anything less than standard thickness laminated glass? I think standard is 1/4 inch.
I think with the correct thickness urethane seal (round) you set the glass flush. Most guys who do that buy a bulk roll of S-10 windshield trim to go around the edge to finish it off. |
Re: Time for glass...
They make lightweight laminated automotive glass that is 1/8" thick but it will cost you north of $1000 and maybe $1500 for a 3 window with wind wings. My 1/4" acoustic glass for my 3 window 53 3100 is about $1000. They haven't given me a final price yet but that is the starting point.
