Sources for fuel tank senders..........

I’m replacing both of the fuel tanks on my 78K20 with
poly tanks. I want to also replace both of the sending units.
LMC doesn’t even have a listing for the driver side.
Where do you guys find this stuff ? And, is it good quality?
I don’t want any future issues afterwards.

When I did both of mine last year, I just used the units they sold at Oreilly. I know the driver and passenger side are supposed to be different part numbers, and the tubes on top point opposite directions. But I just used the passenger side part number for both of mine, and used longer tubing to loop the driver side around back towards the middle

Got both a 20 gallon tank and sender from OReilly's last year for my 75 C10. Don't remember which side. The tank doesn't care and they have senders for both sides. Just make sure you get the correct number of outlets.

Ok. Thanks. I haven’t tried OReilly’s yet.

I bought my tanks and senders from RockAuto.

Sometimes we get in a rut, and think of these trucks only as "classic" or "antique" trucks. Because of this, we only look to LMCtruck, Brothers, and other restoration suppliers for parts. Don't forget that a lot of these trucks are still being daily driven by their owners, and those folks just pick up replacement parts at their local auto parts store. Federated, Advance, Oreilly's, Napa, Carquest, and other stores have almost everything you'll need for drivetrain, suspension, steering, and brakes.
