Soffseal 9971
I bought Soffseal 9971 door weatherstrip seal for my 1950 doors (on 1953 Chevy truck). There are two pieces in the package, but each piece only goes around about two thirds of the circumference of the door. https://www.summitracing.com/oh/part...ions/year/1950
Summit Racing says this should fit 1950 Chevy truck, but does not look right to me. |

Re: Soffseal 9971
I see people recommending Soffseal for the doors. What is the right one to buy in the Soffseal lineup if the 9971 is too thick?

Re: Soffseal 9971
I used this, but it's a lot harder to install than the Soffseal with double sided tape.
I used 3M weatherstrip adhesive to put it on, it wasn't fun but my doors shut nicely. https://metrommp.com/door-side-seal-...-lighter-seal/ They will usually send you a sample no charge. |
