How to fix door dented from hitting fender
 

Found a parts truck that had several good parts I was going to use for my truck. Tow truck picked up from seller location and when winching truck on to roll back truck, the door on the driver's side was left open so the steering wheel could be adjusted. Anyway, tow guy winched truck and door caught a pole, bent back door really far, I know there is a good dent in door, probably other issues but to dark to see. Anyway, is there a way to get the dent out where door bent into front fender? Doors were main reason I bought the truck. Can't blame it completely on driver, I was on that side and should have paid better attention.

A picture may help the body experts. A stud MAY pull the dent out, but you will have to evaluate the overall shape of the door panel after straightening. You don’t want the panel to be flimsy after repairing (called oil canning). You may need to use a porta Power, or a small hydraulic jack and a 2X4 in side the door, to push from front to back to put to door body closer to how it was originally. You can obviously tell a little dent or crease really screws up a nice piece of sheet metal. You have a couple of doors that need this done to them, a similar mistake....

If you can post pictures I will look at them. I am a 40 plus year auto body tech.(Retired) The damage may be the outside only but if the door was "sprung" too far the area at the hinges may be damaged as well. Does the door open and close normal or do you have to slam it? Does the door gap look wide at the back? these are all indicators that there is a major problem. I hate to bear bad news but if the door no longer fits the parts truck it will not fit the other truck. Shoot the pictures of the door jamb area, door gaps, a wide shot of the door and I will look at them.
