Re: Rear leaf helper springs
I would inspect your springs, pins, brackets, attachments, etc. thoroughly first and replace anything broken..
if all you find are worn or sagged springs, they should be fairly reasonable $ to replace and you can restore factory capacity/height or adjust to taste.. we replace springs in fleet vehicles frequently, either ordering oem or local suspension shop beefs a set up for special needs.. I have air lift springs on my 02 for added capacity and they're plumbed individually for leveling when necessary.. original set last almost 15 years, on second set now and springs are healthy.. money well spent for smooth level towing.. good luck! 2200lbs of concrete https://dl.dropbox.com/s/r4jgxtw3zvn...0load.jpg?dl=0 https://dl.dropbox.com/s/nr9m641o84w...20lbs.jpg?dl=0 https://dl.dropbox.com/s/t0enadquhww...19280.jpg?dl=0 https://dl.dropbox.com/s/i3jcgyhlkib...02389.JPG?dl=0 https://dl.dropbox.com/s/vvflj5pn4q3...05607.JPG?dl=0 https://dl.dropbox.com/s/vhh0tkwz70a...024sm.jpg?dl=0 https://dl.dropbox.com/s/82jvcx19w15...49516.jpg?dl=0 |

Re: Rear leaf helper springs
I installed a pair of Air Lift bags to the rear of my 06 1/2 ton crew cab for just a bit of leveling when hauling/towing. For a couple hundred bucks it is a worth while addition and Air Lift has a good rep. I bought mine from Summit.
