Tranny computer battery cable routing

I am installing an upgraded alternator on my front runner system from Vintage Air on my LC9. Installation instructions want a 250 amp fuse inline with the battery cable close to the battery.

The most convenient location to mount the fuse/holder is parallel to where I have the transmission computer mounted.

Does anyone know is a high current cable/fuse next to this computer will cause problems?

Thanks

Re: Tranny computer battery cable routing

250 amp fuse for the AC? On my LS swaps the positive battery cable is bolted directly to the main stud on the starter just like a normal car. No fuse. When I use a Painless chassis wiring kit a 60 amp fuse that powered the rest of of car/truck is included.
I run a 8/10 cable from the main stud on the starter to the stud on the back of the alternator.
If you have every thing grounded properly, trans to frame, frame to engine the trans/engine controller doesn't need a ground.
