Rear disc help!!

hows it going guys!... I purchased a set of GM12 Bolt Rear End Disc Brake Caliper Brackets. These fit GM Metric brake calipers with 5.45" center-to-center bolt spacing, and can also be used with GM Metric calipers with E-Brake (like 1980-85 Cadillac Seville).....what id like to know is what rear disc can I use where I dont have to machine the drum register like you do with the captainfab bracket.

Re: Rear disc help!!

Most brackets I have seen fit d52 calipers which are 76 ish Eldorado cars for a working ebrake

I purchased bolt on rear caliper brackets from McGhaughy's before I ever heard of Capt Fabs set up and was able to use a D154 front caliper from a 1996 S10 along with 1996 Impala SS rotors. The original plan was to use a set of Cadillac Seville calipers that I had but I decided against them. What rear axles do you have?

As far as I know there are no 6 x 5.5 disc rotors that have a center hole of ~3.50" If there was, I would have used them in both of my 6 x 5.5 rear disc conversion bracket assemblies. Machining the hub register on the stock '63-'70 6 x 5.5 axles is just something that has to be done of you are wanting to upgrade to disc brakes.
