A/c question

Thai is probably a dumb idea but.has anyone tried to use the a/c heater box out of a 73/87 truck in our trucks? My 70 gmc doesn’t have a/c and my 79 c20 does.I know it would take some work just don’t know if it’s been done by before.to me the a/c box on the firewall looks kinda like the 67/72 a/c box

I don't think it will match up to the firewall correctly

:agree:

You would be better off with something like Vintage Air units so you can get the controls and all. The other choice is do an under dash unit, which would probably be the easiest and cheapest.

I have to plug Old Air in Ft. Worth...I love their set-up. Not sure if they're low on inventory, but thought I'd throw it out there as a potential solution.
