C10s - High River Car show

We (2 C10s, 1 green GTO) arrived at 6:30am. There were already 67 cars who'd already arrived and parked! At least 1,000 cars parked by noon.

A few favorites, non C10.

Check out the motor! Factory inline 6 with a turbo!

Appeared to be a real shelby, but had AC. Not sure. Beautiful tho.

That turbo inline 6 is way cool. Last show I went too 99% of the trucks had their hoods open, 90% of them had the typical LS swap. IMO people should just keep the hood closed if you have a basic LS. Unless there is something special under the hood I prefer to take photos with the hoods closed.

Thanks for sharing!

Awesome pictures, looks like a Great show.
We just had the “C-10 Nationals” in Maggie Valley NC, last weekend.
I like going to the Fall shows, as you don’t have to contend with the heat.
I’m in Tennessee and the Summertime shows are just too hot for my liking, and the Springtime shows will have rain.
And the Fall Colors are a Bonus:metal:

I'm sure the owners are proud of their engine bays, the hard work within, and want to show them off, but I agree. Hood down looks so much better. These cars and trucks were designed with hoods for a reason. I would bet some folks don't even think about it.

Love that 69 Camaro, really refreshing to see the slant 6 still there with a big load of spice hanging off the side! All of them are Bad ass!
