West Coast Jr. Mounting Measurements

Anyone out there have the factory measurements to install these mirrors on a 60-63 door? Maybe there's some literature out there? Or a NOS set that has instructions?

Yup, I'll be adding a set of these to Frankentruck, but I want it to be as close to the factory placement as possible. I do seem to see these more on 64-66 trucks than 60-63.

If I can't find some factory measurements, a lot of the factory ones I've seen look to be close to center on the vent window post. Might have to be good enough for government work

Thank you, but those aren't the exact mirrors that I am looking for

this is what i know as west coast junior mirrors, 7 1/2 x 10 1/2 inches mirror.
this is what came on my 65 suburban when i bought it in 1969,the original
owner told me he had the dealer install them.
the mirrors in the first post are west coast senior to me.

Nice mirrors Llay, those are my favorite factory optional mirrors. This is the other style that was optional and came standard with Custom Campers.

Well you certainly don't have to worry about them falling off.

It seems to me that "west coast jr" is somewhat of a catch all phrase for all the mirrors that are similar in design. I call the ones I'm looking for juniors because of the even bigger ones found on the heavy duty trucks.

Either way, Llay, that's really cool that you were able to get your burb from the original owner and know the true history of the truck. Something I wasn't able to get on my truck.

I believe my truck had an aftermarket set of these type mirrors based on some mounting holes on the passenger door that I believe is original to the truck. At some point, the driver's side door was replaced, so the mirror was taken off the passenger side at the same time is my guess. Sideways, I know, but it shows where the old mirror mounting holes are
