Truck LED lights now trailer not working

Hey all, I switched my tail & park lights to led in my 69 C-10 and the truck works great but now when I hook up my trailer the lights on the trailer dont work. They did work before I swithced the truck to led. I have the new flasher for leds I know it reverses the polarity for the turn signals but didnt think that would effect anything. Not sure what to do any help would be greatly appreciated

I would put LED's in the trailer.

I'm going to do that. But I needed to use the trailer before I can and cant figure out why they dont work now. Thanks

Just for fun try reinstalling the old flasher unit with the trailer hooked up. I think it may have something to do with the load.
