arm rest help

Was putting on the new door panels and arm rest and other stuff and ran into a problem....My truck didn't come with the arm rest, it has the holes for them but not the nut things that hold the bolt in place . was wondering if anyone new a good way to fix this? Thanks

Those nuts just snap in. Im sure you can find someone on the parts board to send you some. Good luck John

the little clip that is the nut slides over a part of the inner door, it should be easy to rig it up. however, have fun putting the armrest on, lol, it took me like a 1/2 hr just to put the driver side one on because I couldnt get the screw to line up. grrr

Thanks ya'll ...I'll see what I can find on those clips.

they need a little clip that slides on and then has a threaded part on the backside and auto parts store should carry them in the help section.

It is kind of a clip that holds a square nut and clips to the door from the inside.

Let this be a warning guys...this is why you DON'T get your other half too much into your hobby. ;)

I'm sure that sears hardware has somethign that would work. If you've never looked, you'd be amazed at some of the little clips and things they have that you can use automotivly.

Plastic liscense tag nuts and screws will work. You may have to trim the nuts a little.
