HO52 rear part out

Was thinking about parting out a HO52 rear open diff. Items would be the following
Axles and gaskets
Wheel bearings and hubs
Differential internal spider gears and bearings, no ring and pinion
Differential cover
Brake hardware, no drums
Lmk what you guys think.
Thx

No ring & pinion available.

I think you are best off selling whole. I guess some parts are sought after/not available, but it looks like the most sought after are already gone. I know this means local sale only, so maybe some will need a small part or two. But the bearings and seals can be bought new, and personally, I never reuse full-floater seals. I have an HO52 I got for free, from a friend, and it has no axles or brake parts. I figured it was good for an HO52/14-bolt hybrid. I think yoiur cover and backing plates are of value to someone. I'd just take a stab at offering them at what you feel is reasonable enough for someone to grab them up, out of need or just to have. I could use a clean straight cover if the price is right. I imagine others would as well.

Thank you for the good advice. I just can't bring myself to scrap it, so I'm going to offer all of it on the cheap, hoping someone can use it.
Thanks
Dave

I sure will and your welcome. I'm hoping to get something together this weekend time permitting.

The only thing left worth any money would be the hubs, that is if they are 71-72 with the larger 9/16 studs.

The earlier hubs can easily be reamed out for 9/16 studs. That is what I did when I upgraded the brakes on my Eaton to one's from a 14 bolt.

And you think you’re telling me something I don’t know? After you do all of the drilling and buy the new studs it’s more price affective just to buy another pair of hubs
