66 C10 Vacuum Canister

I installed a rear fuel tank and was interested in installing a vacuum carbon canister off the rollover vent port. seems this may be a good thing since that port will breath and emit vapors.

any suggestions?

The charcoal will become saturated with fuel unless you intend on running a vacuum line to draw it off during operation.

Lots of people have removed their OEM tanks to install rear gas tanks in our series trucks. Latter model years used a vacuum canister so direction from this area of the forum may not number at high levels.
However in this thread there is a bunch of info and links to other threads on the subject - https://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/...d.php?t=695914
Using the search function I placed a google search page (for this forum) here - https://www.google.com/search?domain...D%3A1%3B&hl=en

sorry this is painful

i was hoping for some photos showing the connection from the rollover vent on the tank top to the canister that someone has completed.

i had old camaros that used the canister setup but has been awhile.

so i can set a canister on the firewall maybe and run the a hose from the fuel tank rollover vent to the canister.

then i remember it feeds to the engine area somewhere (carb i think) but i dont recall.
