Reputable Speedometer Repair Shop?

Anyone know of a reputable shop that still repairs speedometers (or someone that can)? The one in my '77 needs some work. Odometer gets stuck every 1,000 or so miles. I remove it to "help it along" whenever it happens and it looks like the odometer drive gears aren't meshing well enough and skip when it tries to turn over the 100's or 1000's place.

Figured someone here may know. Hate to take a chance and send it out and never see it again!

I've used https://deluxespeedometer.com/
with good results. But you may want to check with him first because of the current parts delays that's prevalent these days.

Excellent, thanks guys! I'll give 'em both a call and see what they can do.

It'll be nice not having to frantically smack the dash while driving to get the odometer to move this summer.

You can also call speedometer services in Portland, OR if nothing else works out. Bunch of grey hairs in there that really know what they are doing. I’ve had lots of work performed by them.

I'd avoid searching for this one via Google images, haha.

I'll be interested to hear how it goes - who you select and how they do. I'm going to have to take apart my OBS cluster - since the trip odometer just quit on the last road trip.

This seems like a good place to ask a question. After the trip odometer stopped working, I thought that I may have been a contributor to the problem by resetting it while under way. Somehow it seems like the gear shouldn't be moving when you push the reset button. Any thoughts on this? I don't mean to hijack, but I figured that the original topic was pretty well covered.
