WTB Piece of 4 wire Flat Firewall to Tail light wiring harness
 

I need a chunk of the Green/Dark Green/Brown/Yellow 4 wire flat firewall to taillight wiring harness.

I'm routing mine in an unusual way and need to a piece to splice it longer inside the cab.

I think 4 ft would do it, but 6ft might be better.

Anybody got an old messed up wire they could sell me?

I'll look in the extra used wire box and see if I have something that will work. Will get back to you tomorrow. Need the wire portion only I take it, no connectors needed?

Right, just a section of wire. No connectors. I bought a new cable for a shortbed and it's too short to do what I want...

I have some , but you can buy trailer wiring harness at any auto parts store that is the same thing and it is new.

My thoughts too shipping would be more than buying new . Last time I bought some 12ft at wallworld was like $8 . May be more now

I did find a short length of the 4 wire flat portion but it is pretty dry and weather cracked. Think it would be more hassle to try using it verses using new wire. Believe you would be better to do that as suggested and buy the needed wire from Wallyworld.

The new wire is different colors. The new wire was my first thought...

I decided to see if someone could help me out here. Maybe not a cheap as getting new wire the wrong colors, but better in my opinion.

Jason, I understand your thoughts on the new wire colors. PM me your shipping info and I will get a section of the original wire I have in the mail to you. Can't be much postage for a bit of wire in a bubble mailer. May not be exact 6' but would be close. Not too worried about the cost, just want to help out if I can. :chevy:

When I bought trailer wiring harness at Auto Zone it matched the GM colors and was about 20 ft long.

BigBird05 can you send me a link to a product online that has the right colors? Green/Dark Green/Yellow Brown. Everything I could find when I visited autozone and oreilly's and looked online is white/brown/yellow/green.

Jason, just got home from dropping a small package in the mail. Roughly about 6 foot long, original flat 4 wire harness. Hope it works out for you. Should have it by Monday 2/14. :chevy:
