Coil springs.

My C10 has the lightest front springs already, and my 350 has aluminum heads with water pump. My current engine plan is to go with the L83 DI 5.3 which is roughly 80 pounds lighter.

So while not bad the front is a bit stiff for my goals, but how much I don't know as the rears are definitely stiffly sprung. Plus will require testing of different springs.

So since I already have the lightest springs. I have looked for others to swap in.

GM has used the same springs on the Camaro, and S10. Both of which seem to closely match the specs of the C10 except for spring rate. The one I am looking atbis Moog 5664 which had a 750lbft rate vs my 843lbft spring rate. The inside/outside diameter is wider by a 1/4 inch on the S10 vs the C10..

Has anyone swapped S10 springs in a C10? Or is there another spring I should look at.

Moog 6082 = 722# for 6cyl C10's.

And Camaros/S10's have different a-arm lengths which will impact comparison when used in a C10 app.
