rico-bob, there's issues with Martz kits also. I don't think anybody would go wrong buying any kit, whether it be Fatman, Martz, Progressive, etc... but there can and is issues with all of them to some extent.

fat man fabs

I thought I'd give my opinion too. I got my kit from Fat Man's and Rich helped me choose the right setup for mine and I love it. It bolted right in and works great. I have used it in a drag racing application (I chose the coil spring version because of this) and it worked out very well. There kit has absolutely 0 bumpsteer. If you don't like there brake offerings they also let you delete the brakes from the kit. I did this and installed Aerospace components brakes and they fit with the kit just right. I bought my kit a couple of years ago and from what I see they now offer stainless control arms for the same money that I paid for the steel versions, but either way it is a very nice kit.

No headknocking here

Like I said, there are many IFS kits out there. And they all are fine in thier own right... My two points were that the Martz x-member unit is all 1/4 inch steel construction and MOST IMPORTANT TO ME was that my inner fenders on my 57 Pickup DID NOT have to get cut off to accomidate the units A-arms or other parts of the IFS like happens with many of the others.

I was not here doing any head-knocking to anyone's products. Keep on truckin' rico
