Starter issues.

My truck is a 1970 c10 converted to a 4x4 and the motor isn’t original either…
Its got a 383 stroker and a TH350 transmission. How do I figure out what starter would be the correct one to get for this?

The bolts on the valve covers go through the top and not on the sides like it should on a 1970 so I guess the motor is outa something newer?
There is 3 holes for the starter bolts to go through but so far each starter ive seen only have 2 bolts. Any help or info would be much appreciated, my flywheel would thank you as well!

Good deal!

The three holes are for 2 different style starter mounting for the two different size flywheels/flex plates.

Although you didn’t ask I’ll offer this.
Here’s a link that shows the locations of the various casting numbers and a list of what the numbers decode to.
Good idea to have your motor history in case you need parts.
