Wiring harness routing question.

I am installing a new M & H ATO fuse wiring harness this week on my blazer. And I just have a question on the routing of the main trunk coming out of the fuse box. I’m assuming it comes straight up to the right of the emergency brake assembly over to the light switch and then across the top in the clips over to the wiper and ignition switch.

Just making sure there’s not a possibility that it’s supposed to go to the left of the emergency brake assembly.

Thanks
Mark

Re: Wiring harness routing question.

Do you not have the original wiring harness in it? M&H is stock replacement, so it will be routed the same as your original.

The more I work on this Blazer I find lots of things that have been messed with over the past 50 years. Stripped screws messed up wiring etc. The interior was gutted for paint prior to me purchasing it so I am not 100% sure it was installed correctly when It was reinstalled be the previous owner(s).

I am pretty sure it goes straight up and to the right of the emergency brake assembly. But I do like to do things correctly so I’m just asking?

The wire harness goes directly from the fuse box to the light switch (or wiper if 67-68). There should be metal tabs hanging there to wrap around it. From there it runs to the other side of the cluster along the back of the dash pad. It really doesn't come close to the E-brake.
