Power Booster Rod Help?

I Bought a Tuff Stuff Power Booster and Captain Fab Bracket, Drilled The Hole An Inch Lower On The Pedal..

Am I Missing Something Because The Power Booster Rod To The Pedal Would Be On a Huge Angle

Based on the picture I would use the top hole. That would put the rod more inline with the MC. Why did you drill the extra hole?

If you use the upper hole and you don’t have brakes till the bottom of the pedal, move it to the lower hole. With the factory booster and bracket it has an angled rod right behind the booster. You need to have the correct brake pedal ratio. Otherwise things won’t operate correctly. I put in a universal booster with captain fabs bracket. I had to drill a second hole and inch lower in order to have a full pedal.

I ordered my power master brake cylinder today but it does not come with the mounting bracket. Could one of you gents please post a link to Captain Fab's site, please. I know I'm going to need it and would ather use a proven design than come up with something on my own.

Thanks BASE. I'll wait to order a set until I get my MC. Just to be sure the hole patterns match.

When I got mine I think he provided a list of compatible boosters, or recommendations. Might be worth an email.

Just placed an order for one of the brackets from Custom Fab, for my ‘70 C10 (appreciate the link, BASE). The bolt pattern measurement is 3-1/2” x 3-3/8”.
