Phantom grille
 

I have a 83 C10 front end on my truck with the Phantom insert. The one where the factory plastic for the lights is still there. Not a big fan, but I don't hate on it.

When I get around to it I would like to swap a 73 fiberglass front end on with a cowl hood. Or atleast get a proper repo grill for my truck.

My friend has tried to convince me to do the full Phanton grille. Which to me seems way to 1980's. Like I would need a Mullet.

Are phantom grilles still in? Or is it a styling choice I don't get?
