Rear Coilovers

So for rear coilovers, are you basically removing the springs and putting a coilover kit on. Or is there more to it?

I put on new trailing arms, but basically, that is all there is to it. My coilovers mount on the side of the frame instead of behind the axle, but that is just the way the kit worked.

What spring rate did you go with?

250 PSI springs. That is for a 6' Fleetside. I haven't put anything in it yet, but my guess is I won't be able to haul too much. That is what the company I bought the kit from recommended for the balance between ride and handling.

Good to know. I am trying to get a softer ride as well.
