I want to verify these are 1972 big block engine stands. I have pics of the part number and wondering if any clamshell will work with them?

No, they are not '72. They are '73 up brackets....

Here is a thread I posted that shows the difference in the '67-'72 brackets. You can see the difference between the '72 bracket pictures and your brackets.
