67 k10

Good morning to all. My 67 K10 has a bad front spindle/hub ect. All the locking hub gears ect where damaged as well. It has the Dana 44 with the axle u-joints that are enclosed in the ball. I can buy a rusted out 77 K10 with everything there for $500. Will the spindle/hub/lockouts interchange. What would it entail to swap differential? Any thought would be appreciated. Thanks, Cliff

I just swapped an 1980 dana 44 with disc brakes in and it's wonderful. I also have the old closed knuckle axle if you're interested in that....
