Hood release cable?

Does anybody know the measurements of the hood release cable on a 1977 C10 with the hood release cable option?

On rock Auto's site, it lists the cable at 74.7" AND the 1981-1991 truck is the same at 74.7"

According to the Classic Parts Truck catalog there are 2 different part numbers for this cable one being for 1977-1980 (#38-617) and the other lists 1981-1991 (#38-618), but it doesn't state the length of either.

I would stick to the 77-80 one , I,m sure is the right length. 81 style might have a different way to attach to your hood release
